Terms of Service

1. Who we are

The Service is provided by Zustis Technologies Limited, a private company registered in the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC), Dubai, UAE (DIFC Commercial License CL10305), at IH-00-01-03-OF-05, Level 3, Innovation One, Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC), Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

2. Eligibility & accounts

• You must be at least 18 and able to enter into a binding contract. If you use the Service for an organisation, you confirm you are authorised to bind it.
• You must provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account.
• Notify us promptly of any unauthorised use.

3. The Service & plans

ScanIQ lets you create dynamic QR codes and short links, edit their destinations, and view scan analytics. We offer a free plan and paid ("Pro") subscriptions. We may add, change, or discontinue features, and will give reasonable notice of material adverse changes to paid features.

4. Acceptable use

Because ScanIQ redirects people to destinations you control, misuse can cause real harm. You agree to our Acceptable Use Policy, which is part of these terms. In summary, you must not use the Service for or to link to:

• malware, phishing, or credential harvesting;
• illegal content or activity, fraud, or scams;
• deceptive or "cloaked" destinations that differ from what you represent, or that are changed to evade detection;
• spam or unsolicited bulk messaging;
• content that infringes intellectual property, or that is defamatory, hateful, or harassing;
• child sexual abuse material (zero tolerance — reported to authorities), or otherwise unlawful, adult, or regulated content where prohibited by law.

You are responsible for the live destination of every link at all times, including after you edit it. We may disable links or suspend accounts that violate these rules, with or without notice, and may report unlawful activity.

5. Your content

You retain ownership of the links, destinations, and materials you create ("Your Content"). You grant us a limited licence to host, process, and display Your Content solely to operate the Service. You represent that you have the rights to Your Content and that it does not violate these terms or any law.

6. Fees, billing & cancellation

• The free plan is provided as-is. Paid subscriptions are billed in advance through our payment provider and renew automatically until cancelled.
• You can cancel anytime; your paid access continues until the end of the current billing period.
• Fees are exclusive of taxes; applicable taxes are added where required.
• Except where required by applicable law, fees are non-refundable, including for partial periods.
• We may change prices; changes apply to the next renewal after reasonable notice.

7. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, and the ScanIQ name and marks, is owned by Zustis Technologies Limited and protected by law. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service per these terms. If you give us feedback, we may use it without obligation.

8. Third parties

Destinations you link to, and our payment and infrastructure providers, are operated by third parties. We are not responsible for third-party sites, content, or services.

9. Warranties & disclaimers

We work to keep redirects fast and reliable, but the Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose or uninterrupted availability, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Zustis Technologies Limited will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, or goodwill. Our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) USD 100. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

11. Indemnity

You will indemnify and hold harmless Zustis Technologies Limited from claims, losses, and expenses arising from Your Content, your links and their destinations, or your breach of these terms or the Acceptable Use Policy.

12. Suspension & termination

You may stop using and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms, legal reasons, or risk to the Service or others. On termination, your right to use the Service ends and we may delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

13. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy and, for business customers, our Data Processing Addendum describe how we handle personal data and form part of these terms.

14. Governing law & disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC), Dubai, UAE. The courts of the DIFC have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or relating to these terms or the Service, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protections available to you locally.

15. General

• These terms, together with the policies they reference, are the entire agreement between us.
• If any provision is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
• Our failure to enforce a right is not a waiver of it.
• You may not assign these terms; we may assign them to an affiliate or successor.
• We may update these terms; for material changes we will give notice, and continued use after changes means you accept them.
